In Cédric Klapisch's latest film, we once again find the whole gang of happy friends who have now become parents. Romain Duris, Cecile de France and even Audrey Tautou. We then remember the first meeting with the gang, in Spain in The Spanish inn released in 2001.
The whole gang
To recreate this international atmosphere at home, we mix trends for a 100% eclectic atmosphere. American bar as in the last part of the saga, brick wall and metal chairs enliven the living room. We also play the game with a few Asian touches reminiscent of the film's title: paper lanterns, chopsticks and floor cushion give pride of place to China. Russia is also the star of the house as in Russian dolls , where we find our complete click for the marriage of Wendy's brother with a pretty Slav. We then install a few Russian dolls in the library and a blanket to fight the cold.
Last flashback with The Spanish inn , where the young Xavier, played by Romain Duris, meets what will become his second family. On the program, all languages (or almost) are represented, starting with Catalan and Castilian, the two main languages in Spain. We then discover a passion for tortillas, these omelets typical of the Iberian Peninsula, and we decide to hang up the stoves in the kitchen that we want to be joyful and colorful, for a sympathetic and disorderly atmosphere. Last touch for an ever more Klapischian decor: the DVD box to place prominently near the TV corner, to display your cinematic tastes to everyone.
