Pastel colors are no longer reserved for baby's room, they are installed throughout the house! Pink, yellow, blue and green will be the soft colors that will make the spring / summer 2013 trend so we immediately adopt them in the house to soften our interior.

The pastel boom

Borrowed from fashion, the pastel trend blooms before spring to offer us a little good humor while waiting for the rays of the sun to illuminate these colors. The house is thus inspired by the tones of the 50s where pastel was very appreciated to brighten up the interiors and forget the war. All household objects are affected by this wave of sweetness! We can then equip ourselves with household appliances in marshmallow colors, almond green dishes or buttery yellow throw and cushions. Even the furniture starts with seats in soft colors like the Tolix metal chairs or the XLBoom Ball Chair which are reinvented in blue or pastel pink for a more feminine side.

Pastel and the bedroom

The favorite piece of pastel? The bedroom of course because it is the ideal room for a soft and relaxing atmosphere to help you sleep. We opt for pastel colors on the walls for a total look or we simply choose a few accessories such as bed linen or cushions in a decor in natural colors. Do not hesitate to mix several pastel shades to create a cheerful mix. You can also opt for a pastel color that you will associate with a pearl gray or a linen beige.
