While it is used in embroidery mainly for decorative purposes, we use the seam stitch to make hems or join two fabrics. This point is worked from left to right. Below, you will find the explanations for making a liner stitch on a hem. 1. Make your hem by folding the actu: 739845 fabric inwards. Then make a knot on the end of the thread, then slide the needle into the hem. Make it stand out on the right side of the latter a few millimeters from the edge of the hem.
2. Stitch the news: 739845 main fabric on the right of the first stitch using a small stitch made from right to left. This should be as small as possible.
3. Pull the needle to tighten the thread, then make a new small point on the right side of the hem, also stitching from right to left. This point should be located at the same height as the initial needle exit point.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 along the hem making sure that the stitches on the one hand above the hem and on the other hand on the hem are aligned and of the same length.
